WORDS FOR THE WISE

A great life isn't about BIG things, it’s about the small thing the makes a big difference.

-When you do something out of love, you don’t count the cost.

-Be more concerned with your character than your reputation.

-You don’t   get what you wish for, you get what you work for.

-There are secret blessings in every day, find them, create them and treasure them.

-You may lose the people you love, you may lose the things you have. But no matter what happens, do not lose yourself.

-Life is not about people who act true to your face. It’s about people who remain true behind your back.

ONCE UPON A TIME IN ADSU

Once upon a time in Adsu when we tend to smell and feel the closeness of our future prior to our academic activities, when our attention was strictly on the B.sc, M.sc and PhD in view.

Once upon a time when the love garden was just a location to source materials from the ladies but now an avenue to get the hottest and the sweetest night kiss.

Once upon a time when Adsu notepad was strictly for weekend use but now our handout has turn to be our weekend journals.

Once upon a time when the campus ladies search for guys with handsome CGPA, but now they base their attention on guys with handsome pocket.

Once upon a time when students tend to pursue complete attendance in class, but today they prefer to pursue complete attendance in madamgaska.

Once upon a time when we spent our last kobo to search and type our assignments but today we spent our last coin buying data in order to socialize.

Once upon a time when we tend to resume anxiously just to show our friends how well we study home, but today we resume anxiously to showcase the latest phones we bought.

Once upon a time when we spent the whole night studying and thinking on how to pass our examination, but today we spent the whole night meditating and cramming words from the dictionary just to approach that lady with a better grammars and vocabularies..

WHERE IS MY ADSU

Yes we all know that
Adsu is the first university in the north-east, but what do we
have to show up and what happened along the way.
.
Universities in Nigeria are fastly thinking of how to impact and
be the best as far as NUC ranking is concern.
.
In Adsu, we set the platform for any other state university in
the North-East to follow but the question is, Where are we
now and what's our stand?
Now check out this.
.
The National University Commission has approved to Taraba
State University the following Faculties:-
1. Faculty of Law
2. Faculty of Health Science
3. Computer Science Education
4. Kinetic Studies (PHE)
5. Agric Education
6. Library & Info Science
7. Theatre Art & Film Production
8. Wild life Conservation.
.
This should have been our target for long but i was so surprise
to keep adhering and listen to students on campus counting
down days to go for strike.
This is appalling and a big catastrophe signal to the
government of adamawa state not to fund Education ranging
from her University down to the primary education.
.
I think we need our university back.
